During the first lockdown I thought it would be good to share photos I don’t normally post when I write blogs about the cities I visit, so I shared some favorites from Rome. As this third lockdown drags on (longer than the first if you can believe it), I have struggled with writing blogs. It’s so hard to write when every day is Groundhog’s Day and the travel you can write about just makes you miss it all the more.
But, I am so grateful for each and every person that comes to read my little blog and I don’t want you all to think I’ve abandoned it. So I will thank you by sharing a little photo blog from our trip to Krakow last summer with Tim’s coworker, Sean. It was our first flight trip since lockdown and it went surprisingly smoothly. Our hotel was gorgeous, the food was delicious and the people wonderful. Here’s a small glimpse into the wonderful weekend we spent in the gorgeous city. I can’t wait to return.

St Mary’s Basilica houses the trumpeter of Krakow This penny farthing was in the same place for two days (without a lock), I was fascinated. We had the best Reuben sandwiches at a restaurant in the lobby of a random office building. The view from the Wawel castle is lovely.. Seems legit? We took the Creepy Krakow tour with the BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER. Here Sean demonstrates medieval church punishments. Loved this graffiti The Cloth Hall, the oldest “shopping mall” in the world dates to the 15th century This quote was mind blowing to me. This view. ❤ The old town square from above. Flowers at Wawel Castle Panorama of the square Eros Bound by Polish sculptor Igor Mitoraj We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant Cyrano De Bergerac which is in a cellar under the streets of Krakow. Hamilton was so excited to take a photo with our tour guide Dominika. They became fast friends.

Which attractions did you enjoy the most? (Hope it’s okay for me to shamelessly ask for as many recommendations as you feel like giving.) The graffiti and art photographs are lovely; thanks for sharing!
